After launching
Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst, users can configure their options before playing. If you are unfamiliar with these options, please run the game at the default values and change only if necessary. A short description of each option is listed below.
Options

Your Graphics Card name and model appear here |
Display |
Here you can change your Resolution and color options. You can also run the game in Window Mode or disable V-Sync. |
Graphics |
Select between High End, Normal, and Low end. Be sure to check the box that is appropriate to your system type. If you wish to configure the Graphics options manually, select the Advanced option. The Advanced section is covered in more detail in the next section. |
Sound |
Change whether you would like Sound on or off. Click Advanced to change Background Music and Sound Effects individually. |
Font |
Select your desired font to be displayed in game. |

When changing the V-Sync option, the monitor may flicker when the game launches.
Advanced Graphics Options
Frame Skip |
Using the drop down menu, select the amount of frames to skip. |
Advanced Effects |
Enable advanced effects, such as reflections |
Low Resolution Textures |
Enabling this option can significantly improve gameplay performance. |
Auto Frame Skip |
If game performance slows, frame will be automatically skipped. |
Detail |
Use the sliders to indicate your desired level of shadow detail. |
Clip Distance |
Use the slider to indicate your desired draw distance in game. |
Fog Effect |
Choose between Vertex, Pixel, and emulation fog. |
