When you first start the game, you'll be connected to an online server and presented with the most recent information. Make sure to read this carefully. |
First Time Playing
The first time you play the game, you will need to enter your Game ID and your Password. Your Game ID and Password are very important pieces of information for management.

Press 'Enter' to go from the Update Screen to the Character Select Screen. |
When you start up the game for the first time, there will be no characters to choose from. |

But how can I select a character if I haven't got one yet? |

Naturally, your first time playing, you won't have a character. Select "New" in order to go to the Character Creation process. |

There will be four slots marked "New," giving you a total of four character slots to use. |
Four Characters
You are allowed to have four characters per Game ID when playing PSO BB. When making your first character, it does not matter which slot you choose.
Four characters, huh? That's a good deal! I'm ready to make my character now! |

Character Creation allows you to not only select a character's hair and costume, but you can also freely adjust body proportions. |

First, choose a character type. |
Hunter: |
Mainly uses high-power melee weapons, such as swords. |
Ranger: |
Skilled at distance combat with guns, and also at causing enemy status effects. |
Force: |
Able to master a wide variety of combat, support, and healing Techniques. |

Set the Face for your character. Some face options include masks and face paint. |
Select Hair Color, using a set of RGB sliders. |
Choose a Costume. This affects not only color, but also designs and details. |

Select Skin Color. Depending on skin color, some face paint colors also change. |
Set your character's Proportions. You can freely set height and width. |
Then, give your character a Name. |

There are a lot of options to set, here! Is there a way to just set these all at once? |

You can select "Random" to generate a character. Then, you can go in and change certain settings afterward to fine-tune. |

Dressing Room
If your Team has acquired its own Dressing Room, you can use it to change your character's Costume and Hair style.
