Dude, My Eyes Hurt

Before I begin, I invite you to some sympathy pain. Step up from the computer, unstick your palms from the palmrest, and walk out the door. Go outside, get into whatever vehicle you have about you, and go to a video store nearby and rent or buy a copy of Rez. Come back home, pop it in to your PS2 (or DC, if your video store is also an importer), and go wild for two hours straight, then come back and read what I have to say.

No, seriously. Go.

If you haven't gone yet, I warn you... you'll miss out on the effect.

Come on, man...

...it's only $50 between you and your friendly neighborhood cashier!

Don't have the green? Go rent it.

I'm dead serious... get over there.

Oh fine.

Still wanna read my article? Here goes:

I have decided to put a different text color on the screen to help out those who probably can't see quite well, because they followed my advice and got Rez. Don't your eyes hurt? Wow, I can't believe the enormous brain-fry headache I've got... and I was a good clear 10 feet away from the screen, too. No straining! No seizures!
But, oh, do my eyes hurt. It's like watching TRON without blinking... actually, much much worse. TRON at least had calm tones and straight-forward landscape (well, except for when Jeff Bridges transferred to the Game Grid, but yeah).

Will I do it again? Hell yeah!

I have not been hooked on a game like this in a long time. In fact, this is a first for a music game. Now, I must say that I loved the experience, but normally I can't stand techno/dance/trance/etc... I never could get into it. And yet, here I am, succumbing once again to something cool that Sega has done to bless us all with a wonder. (way better musical effort than Jet Grind Radio. Guitar Vader can choke on it, for all I care)

Well, that does it for this little article. Just thought you all needed to try this out. I would've put it in the "You Might Have Missed..." except quite a few people already know about this dirty secret.
