While their machinery is not uncommon, little information is readily available about this manufacturer. Founded in 1875, Sagar were manufacturers of various kinds of industrial woodworking machinery. They were located in Halifax, a town in Yorkshire, northern England, with a population of about 90,000. Halifax is well known as a centre of England's woollen manufacture from the 15th century onward.
All the machines I've seen appear to be of heavy, high quality and well thought out construction. I'll take some shots of the construction details of my machines at a later date.
