Sega is proud to announce the launch of Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst. Thanks to all the Open Beta testers, we’ve been able to isolate and fix several major server issues as well as a number of compatibility problems and bug fixes. Beta testers have only gotten a sneak peek into what Blue Burst has to offer. Take a look at some of the new content coming your way:

• Episode II is here with all new Lab Quests.
• Take on any player in Battle Mode for some PvP action.
• Cooperate with friends to tackle Challenge Mode.
• PC-exclusive Episode 4 debuts on U.S. servers featuring new enemies, new environments, and amazing new items.
• Updated Quests and all new GM run events!

The beta is over, but the fun has just begun. To continue playing Blue Burst, players must purchase a Hunters License from the Billing site. A Hunter’s License is a monthly subscription service that allows you to go online to play PSO BB. It’s going to cost you $8.99/month (that’s U.S. Dollars). Your credit card will be billed automatically every month on the same day of the month as when you registered. Sign up is very easy, you’ll be back online in no time at all! All Open Beta players are still eligible for the 2 week Free Trial Period. And as an added bonus, all character data will remain on the server!

The AOL Maximum Attack Cup has come to an end. Open Beta players fought hard and secured themselves with a special prize- a Cell of Mag 213! All Open Beta players will need to open a space within your character's inventory to receive the item. The Mag Cell will only be awarded to one character per Game ID.

Players who met the 100,000 point milestones will also receive a special prize. The same rules apply as the Mag Cell here. You will need to open a space within your character's inventory to receive the item.

Our Team contest was a smashing success with New_Legacy earning not only the top spot, but a unique Team wallpaper as well! We will have more information on this prize in the weeks to come.
