    DreamFrodo v0.9 Posted by CyRUS64 @ 13:41
Tolga Abaci has made the first beta release of DreamFrodo, a port of the Commodore 64 emulator Frodo.

    Features include:

  • Mostly full speed emulation of a PAL Commodore 64 (when the 1541 processor is turned off).
  • 640x480 resolution (PAL/NTSC) with 44.1 Khz, 16bit audio.
  • User interface for loading disk/tape images and altering emulation settings.
  • Autostart feature and on-screen keyboard for people who do not own a Dreamcast keyboard.
  • 'Standard' and 'Precise cycle' versions. (Former faster, latter more compatible)

Source and binaries are available at Tolga's site and please feel free to leave feedback for the author in this thread.

Update: Due to some users having crashing issues, Tolga has released a new binary with console output enabled. Please report any messages you are getting when you experience a crash in the thread above. This binary also has safer, but slightly slower, video output that could prevent the crashes, and also reduce flicker.
