Echo is a 2.5d platformer, with fully 3d backgrounds and
2d characters.
The Idomu Engine features imported 3d backgrounds and characters
with hierarchal animation. Engine operates in movie mode (for
realime cinematics) and game mode which smoothly interpolates
between character animations. Direct3D.
The Octagon Engine featured imported 3d backgrounds and
characters. Animation was hardcoded. Characters could swim, run,
walk, tiptoe or fly. Collision detection. Character would fall
on behind and get hat knocked off if it ran into a wall. Following
camera and area based static cameras (like walking past a security
camera). Direct3D
The Hayaku Engine used by RocketRace was heavily modified
for a four wheel vehicle to make the Velocity Engine.
Chrono is tile-based 2d platformer with enemy AI, hidden
secrets, and 9 unique levels for DirectDraw.
