DNA WEBPAGE OPERATIONAL

by VerticalE

It is a day of thought, with the memories of the tragical happenings on the same date, one year ago, fresh in our minds. It taught us how strong we can be when working together, helping each other. It created strong bonds between nations, between people...

Much in the same spirit, DNA is here to help you out. We want to create bonds between people in the dreamcast development community, and we welcome all that wants to give it a go. We will provide you with all the information you need to get started. But it doesnt stop there. dc n00bs anonymous will also work together on projects, so that coders with a minimal knowledge can see the fun of working on things that are actually released. We will also write numerous articles and guides about programming - either in general or aimed specifically at dc development.

How can we achieve these goals?
This is where you come in. If you are a skilled dc developer, then we'd like to hear from you. Write us an article, drop by our chatroom and tell us a few tricks and secrets, give us useful links... anything is highly appreciated! The current people already involved in DNA will work together to bring you as much information as we can.

Who can join?
If you have no programming experience at all, then DNA is here to help you. We are not going to teach you programming though, but we will point you to places that do. We will be available for discussing things that you have a problem understanding though, so dont be afraid to ask. Skilled developers are also welcome, of course!

Where can I find you?
Our main media for communication is located at #dcn00bs (that's zeros) on irc.webmaster.com. Other than that, we use this page to release articles, post news, hand out links... and so on.

Bottomline, DNA is here to give you a chance to get involved. We dont take ourselves seriously, and we understand that this is more a learning process than to impress anyone with our 1337 h4x0r skillz.

ph33r teh n00bs!
