Connecting the SEGA Dreamcast to an access concentrator

This chapter describes the steps for connecting the SEGA Dreamcast to an access concentrator necessary for using ADSL with our gaming console. Therefore, we compile and configure the source packages ppp-2.4.1 and rp-pppoed-3.3. At the end of this chapter, you'll be able to "surf" the Internet - newly :-) Unfortunately, we don't have any browser, so we just "ping" some hosts or may download some software with "wget". But that stage is absolutely necessary to establish the next steps to complete a router with a firewall.
